Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings Recipe

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Prepare Apples: Peel and core the apples, then cut each apple into 8 wedges.

Wrap Apples: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place an apple wedge on the wide end of each triangle of dough. Roll the dough around the apple wedge and pinch to seal.

Arrange Dumplings: Place the dough-wrapped apple wedges in the prepared baking dish.

Make Sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

Pour Sauce: Pour the butter mixture evenly over the apple dumplings.

Add Mountain Dew: Pour the can of Mountain Dew around the edges of the baking dish and in between the dumplings. Avoid pouring directly on top of the dumplings to keep the sugar topping intact.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.

Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. These dumplings are delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
