Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Prepare the Steak:
Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
Cook the Steak:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan). Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Combine Steak and Garlic Butter:
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Stir until the butter is melted and the steak bites are well coated.
Serve:
Serve the garlic butter steak bites hot, alongside the cheesy smashed potatoes.
