1. Make the base

Crush the biscuits into small pieces (not powder — keep some chunks).

Add the melted butter and mix well.

Press the mixture firmly into a round cake pan.

Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
2. Make the chocolate cream

Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan (don’t boil).

Add the chopped chocolate and stir until completely melted.

Add the cocoa, sugar, and vanilla.

Mix until smooth.
3. Assemble the cake

Pour the chocolate cream over the biscuit base.

Smooth the top.

Add chocolate chips or caramel if you like.
4. Chill

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
