1. Make the Mashed Potatoes:

Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft.

Drain the water.

Mash them with butter, warm milk, salt, and pepper.

Mix until smooth and creamy. Put aside.

2. Prepare the Meat & Gravy:

In a pan, heat butter or oil.

Add onion and cook until soft.

Add minced meat and cook until browned.

Add garlic (optional) and stir.

Sprinkle the flour over the meat and mix well.

Add beef broth (or water + stock cube).

Stir and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika and thyme.

3. Serve

Put the mashed potatoes on the plate.

Spoon the meat and gravy on top.

Enjoy while warm 🤤🔥
