- 4 large egg yolks
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- For the Fruit Layers:
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 mango, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup orange juice (for brushing the cake layers)
- For Garnish:
- Whipped cream
- Fresh mint leaves
