🧁 Instructions:
-
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Cream the Ingredients
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and powdered sugar on low speed until smooth.
Add salt, vanilla extract, flour, and chopped pecans. Mix until well combined. -
Shape and Bake
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake for about 11 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden. -
Coat in Powdered Sugar
Let the cookies cool slightly. Place powdered sugar in a large bowl or bag and roll 3–4 cookies at a time to coat them evenly.
Transfer to a cooling rack and let them cool completely. -
Double Coat for Perfection
Once cooled, roll the cookies again in powdered sugar for that classic snowy look and extra sweetness.
💡 Tips:
-
For extra flavor, lightly toast the pecans before adding them to the dough.
-
Store in an airtight container for up to one week — they stay deliciously tender!
