Instructions
1. Prepare the Crumbs
- 
Add crushed pastry or cookies to a non-stick pan. 
- 
Toast over medium heat, stirring constantly for 8–10 minutes, until golden brown. 
- 
Remove from heat and let cool. 
2. Make the Custard Cream
- 
In a non-stick saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar. 
- 
Add the milk and whisk until smooth. 
- 
Whisk in the flour until fully incorporated and no lumps remain. 
- 
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 6–10 minutes). 
- 
Remove from heat and let cool. 
3. Assemble the Dessert
- 
In serving glasses, add 2 tablespoons of crumbs. 
- 
Top with 2 tablespoons of custard cream. 
- 
Repeat layers until the glass is full. 
- 
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. 
- 
Garnish as desired (e.g., fresh berries, chocolate shavings, or powdered sugar).

Use store-bought puff pastry crumbs for a more authentic Napoleon flavor. 
- 
Add vanilla extract or lemon zest to the custard for extra aroma.
