Chocolate Loaf Cake Recipe

  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.

  5. Gradually add the dry mixture, alternating with buttermilk, until smooth.

  6. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

  7. Pour batter into the loaf pan and spread evenly.

  8. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
