1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a deep-dish pie plate.
2. Make the Spaghetti Crust
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain well and return to the pot.
Stir in butter until melted.
In a small bowl, whisk eggs and Parmesan cheese, then mix into the spaghetti.
Press the spaghetti mixture into the pie plate, forming an even crust.
3. Prepare the Cheese Layer
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, parsley, and basil.
Spread evenly over the spaghetti crust.
4. Make the Meat Sauce
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in diced tomatoes and pasta sauce. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Spread meat sauce over the ricotta layer.
5. Bake & Add Cheese Topping
Bake for 20–25 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake 5 more minutes until bubbly.
6. Serve
Let cool slightly before slicing.
