Creamy Ground Beef & Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
500g ground beef
4–5 potatoes, thinly sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, grated
1 celery stalk, chopped
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 cup beef broth
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
Grated cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Sauté ground beef until browned. Add onion, carrot, celery and cook until soft.
Stir in flour, cook for 1 minute, then slowly add milk and broth. Simmer until thickened.
Layer potatoes in a baking dish, pour beef mixture over. Repeat layers.
Top with cheese if using.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until golden.
