Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus & Lemon-Garlic Butter Sauce
🔸 Ingredients (Serves 2–3):
2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes or fresh parsley for garnish

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Make the lemon-garlic butter sauce:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper (plus red pepper flakes if using).
Prepare foil packets:
Tear off two large pieces of foil.
Place a handful of asparagus in the center of each.
Lay one salmon fillet on top of each asparagus pile.
Add flavor:
Drizzle each fillet with olive oil.
Pour the lemon-garlic butter sauce evenly over the salmon and asparagus.
Top with lemon slices.
Seal the foil:
Fold the foil over the salmon and seal all edges tightly to make a packet.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon.
(Optional: open the foil for the last 2–3 minutes and broil to get a golden top.)
Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.
