Sear pork chops in an oiled skillet over medium/high heat. (optional)
Combine oil, ranch seasoning, and apple cider vinegar.
Add potatoes and pork chops to slow cooker. Pour ranch mixture over top and toss to evenly coat potatoes and chops.
Top with cubes of butter.
Cook on high heat for about 3 hours. On low heat for 5-6 hours. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
