1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional, enhances chocolate flavor)

2 tablespoons rum or brandy (optional)

1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons rum or cherry liqueur (optional)
For the Chocolate Glaze:
½ cup dark chocolate, melted
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
