Preparation
First preheat the oven to 210 degrees. Then wash the potatoes and cook them in their skins for about 15 minutes.
Peel and cut into slices. Peel the onion and cut into cubes.
Next, heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until it is crumbly. Add the onions and fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
Now add tomato paste, sugar, water and 3 teaspoons of stock and cook for about 5 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.
Now brush a casserole dish with oil and line it with potatoes. Then spread the minced meat mixture on top and sprinkle with half of the Gouda.
Now bring the cream to the boil in a small saucepan and dissolve 1 teaspoon of stock in it.
Spread the sauce over the casserole and sprinkle with the remaining Gouda. Bake in the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes.
