Snack attack! These are so delicious, I almost ate them all!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Haystacks are a delicious twist on the classic treat, combining the rich and creamy flavor of peanut butter with the satisfying crunch of chow mein noodles and a hint of chocolate. I still remember the first time I made these; it was a snowy Saturday afternoon and I wanted something sweet that was easy to make. These haystacks are perfect for those moments when you’re craving a quick treat that doesn’t require you to turn on the oven. They’re also a hit at parties and potlucks and disappear almost as quickly as you can make them!
These haystacks are perfect on their own as a sweet snack, but if you want to make a dessert platter, they pair beautifully with fresh fruit like strawberries or apple slices. For an even more indulgent treat, serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a warm cup of coffee. They’re also great for packing in lunchboxes or as a quick snack to take with you on busy days.

Variations & Tips
For a different flavor profile, use white chocolate chips instead of butterscotch chips. You can also sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top for a sweet and salty combination. If you like coconut, mix in 1/2 cup of shredded coconut for extra texture. For those who like something a little spicier, a dash of cayenne pepper can give these treats an unexpected kick.
