Quick apple caramel cake without baking
๐ Ingredients:
๐ 3 large apples (preferably sweet, e.g. Szara Reneta, Ligol)
๐ช 200g biscuit crackers
๐ฅ 1 package of vanilla pudding (sugar-free)
๐ฅ 500 ml milk
๐ 3 tablespoons sugar
๐ฏ 200 g caramel or toffee
๐ง 1 tablespoon butter
๐ 1 teaspoon lemon juice
๐ฟ Optional: cinnamon, walnuts for decoration

1๏ธโฃ Prepare the apples
โ๏ธ Wash, peel and cut the apples into thin slices.
โ๏ธ To prevent them from turning dark, sprinkle them with lemon juice.

โ๏ธ Heat milk in a saucepan, add custard and sugar.
โ๏ธ Let the mixture reduce until it thickens, then add butter, stir and let cool slightly.

โ๏ธ Place the first layer of crackers on the bottom of the pan.
โ๏ธ Spread the custard on top and then spread a layer of apples on top.
โ๏ธ Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up.

โ๏ธ Pour the caramel or topping over the cake and spread evenly.
5๏ธโฃ Chill
โ๏ธ Place in the fridge for at least 3 hours to allow the flavors to blend well.

โ๏ธ Sprinkle with cinnamon or chopped nuts before serving!
