Birria Wings with Consomé Recipe

Instructions:
1️⃣ Prep the Birria Sauce:
Boil the dried guajillo and ancho peppers in water for 5 minutes until soft.
Blend the softened peppers with beef broth, garlic, onion, oregano, cumin, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, and salt until smooth. Strain if needed.
2️⃣ Cook the Wings:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the wings dry, toss with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, or air-fry for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
3️⃣ Coat the Wings:
Toss the crispy wings in the birria sauce until well coated.
Broil for 5 minutes to caramelize the sauce slightly.
4️⃣ Make the Consomé:
In a saucepan, heat beef broth and add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup of the reserved birria sauce.
Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in chopped cilantro and adjust salt to taste.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
Serve the saucy Birria Wings with warm Consomé for dipping. Garnish with fresh cilantro, lime wedges, and extra birria sauce if desired.
