Instructions:
Cook the pasta as per package instructions.
In a pan, cook the sausages until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onions, peppers, and garlic.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, and chili flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the sliced sausages back in and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
Toss with pasta and top with Parmesan & basil.
3. Sausage & Peppers Sandwich
Ingredients:
4 Italian sausages
1 onion, sliced
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
4 hoagie rolls
4 slices provolone cheese
Instructions:
Grill or pan-fry the sausages until fully cooked.
In a separate pan, sauté onions and peppers in olive oil until soft. Add balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.
Toast the hoagie rolls and place a sausage inside each one.
Top with sautéed peppers and onions, then add a slice of provolone cheese.
Broil for 2 minutes to melt the cheese. Enjoy!
