Easy Italian Meatloaf
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
½ cup marinara sauce (plus extra for topping)
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, egg, and marinara sauce until well combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
Spread a little more marinara sauce on top.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
