Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place Texas toast on a baking sheet.
Cook the beef: In a pan over medium heat, cook ground beef and onions until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
Make the sauce: Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble: Spoon the meat mixture over each Texas toast slice. Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
