Chocolate Loaf Cake Recipe
Ingredients:

1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
½ cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 large eggs
½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (240ml) buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar, let sit for 5 minutes)
½ cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two small loaf pans with parchment paper or grease them well.

Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, vanilla extract, and buttermilk until smooth.

Combine Wet and Dry:
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Add Chocolate Chips (Optional):
Gently fold in the chocolate chips for an extra burst of chocolate.

Bake:
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool:
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
